Corporate Plan
The CDPP aims to contribute to a fair, safe, and just society by delivering an effective, independent prosecution service in accordance with the Prosecution Policy of the Commonwealth. We do that by performing a range of functions and tasks that align with three specialist services: we seek to prosecute the right cases, we seek to prosecute those cases in the right way, and we seek to have a positive impact on the criminal justice system as a whole.
- We continue to strengthen our relationships with our partner agencies and support them build their capability.
- We provide specialised legal advice to our partners about their ongoing investigations and priorities.
- We contribute to the Attorney-General’s Department’s (Department) work in law reform, providing advice on proposed law reform and other policy initiatives.
- We provide a significant number of reports and quality data that informs the work of our partners, the Department and the Courts.
