The CDPP employs approximately 430 employees in 10 offices around Australia, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Townsville. The majority of our employees are lawyers and we employ social workers as part of the Witness Assistance Service. Our employees also provide a range of enabling services for our legal practice including litigation support, governance, accountancy, IT services, library services, people services, financial services, business improvement, professional development and administrative support. All employees are employed under the Public Service Act 1999.
