Court updates

The matter was listed for a second mention of the Commonwealth charge and third mention of the State charges.

The Court adjourned all charges for 8 weeks to allow the defendant’s psychiatric treatment to continue. 

The defendant was remanded to appear for further mention on all charges on 26 May 2026.

The defendant appeared for first mention of the Commonwealth charge and second mention of the State charges.

The suppression order made on 27 January 2026 protecting information relating to the defendant was lifted on application by the CDPP.

The defendant was remanded to appear for further mention on all charges on 31 March 2026 at Perth Magistrates Court.

The defendant appeared in relation to the State charges and was remanded in custody to appear on 17 February 2026.

The defendant applied for, and was granted, a suppression order protecting information relating to the defendant.

Note: The CDPP did not have carriage of the prosecution at this time and did not appear at this court mention.
