Report a crime

Please do not report a crime directly to the CDPP. The CDPP cannot investigate crimes.

If a crime is happening now, a life is threatened or the offender is still in the area, call triple zero (000). 

Otherwise, you can report crimes against the Commonwealth to the Australian Federal Police. 

You can report other crimes to your state or territory police:

• ACT
• NSW
• NT
• QLD
• SA
• TAS
• VIC
• WA

or you can attend your nearest police station.
