How to Make an FOI Application
FOI requests are not subject to an application fee, however applications:
- are to be in writing and may be in electronic form;
- must state that they are being made under the Freedom of Information Act 1982;
- must provide enough information concerning the documents sought as is reasonably necessary to enable the CDPP to identify them; and
- must include the applicant’s name and contact details to allow for delivery of notices given under the Act. An email address may be provided in lieu of a street address.
