The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act) allows you to seek access to your personal information and to have that information corrected or annotated if the information contained in documents held by the CDPP is incomplete, misleading or out of date.

An application for amendment must:

  • be in writing;
  • say why the information is incomplete, incorrect, out of date or misleading and what amendments are required;
  • specify an address in Australia for correspondence to be sent or delivered to.

You can send your request for amendment to:

Or by email to FOI@cdpp.gov.au

The CDPP will notify you of our decision about your request within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our decision, you can seek a review. See Review Rights.
